Welcome and thank you for your interest in Tarrant County College and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) RN to BSN Early Decision Program. The articulation agreement between these schools allows you to plan by making the early decision to participate in the TTUHSC School of Nursing RN to BSN program. After successfully completing your DNA program and in addition to meeting the admission and admission requirements for the TTUHSC School of Nursing RN to BSN program, you can complete your BSN in just two semesters. (See our admission and admission requirements below.) This program meets all the requirements of the Florida Department of Health Board of Nursing standards. Tallahassee Community College`s AS Diploma in Nursing (including the ai Health Professional) is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Nursing Education (ACEN). The School of Nursing is a program with limited access and registration. TCC has helped hundreds of female nursing students achieve their goals. The full-time DNA program has been in effect since 1971 to meet the need for more registered nurses (RNs) in the state of Oklahoma. DNA programs lead to eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN exam to become an IA and also an AAS (Associate in Applied Science) in Nursing. AAS in nursing is a specific type of DNA that leads to a career as a professional nurse, rather than nursing students pursuing a four-year degree. Nursing program preparation courses include introductory courses in English, chemistry, psychology, biology, and anatomy.
Admission requirements include a CNA (Certified Practical Nurse) qualification or proven CNA-level competency and a grade of “C” or higher in all required courses. The full-time ADN program can be completed in five semesters. A letter of intent to apply for a BSN from the TTUHSC School of Nursing and an application for admission to the nursing program at Tarrant County College are required to be eligible for early decision admission status. This status ensures that graduates who meet the following admission requirements are admitted to the RN to BSN track at the TTUHSC School of Nursing. To submit an application, click here. To comply with State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030, students must earn a grade of “C” or better in any communication, mind, social, or math course used to meet general educational requirements. Application to the Program: The program accepts students for each fall and spring semester. This is a program with limited access with a limited number of seats per class. Applicants will be accepted on the basis of the points system of the admission requirements described above. There is no waiting list for this program.
Nursing (R.N.), A.S. The degree prepares students to work efficiently and safely in entry-level nursing positions and for the National Council for Registered Nurses Licensing Exam (NCLEX-RN). If you are unsure of care, TCC offers other accredited health programs. Admission to the nursing program is highly selective and requires a separate application in addition to general admission to the college. Admission Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and meet all the college`s admission requirements. This is a program with limited access and registration. MTH 154 (or MTH 155) is required as a prerequisite for a course. PSY 201 will be discontinued as a compulsory course.
